In this day an age of science being the mighty Goliath of our times, Christians need to be on a careful watch. Science is a blessing from the Lord conferred upon man to be able to better understand His creation and how it works. Observational science, whereby statements of fact are made by scientists, must be backed up by direct observational evidence and logical reasoning. Today however, science fact tends to drift into the realm of science fiction. The unproven hypothesises of scientists lay claim to knowing how we came to be .. but can never directly prove anything about origins. Scientists are welcome to guess, speculate and interpret circumstantial evidence anyway that they want .. but they shouldn't lay claim to know "fact"when the word "guess" is more appropriate.
God on the other hand was there and was the instrument of creation and has recorded His account of creation via Moses in the book of Genesis.
