This Year's Theme is Answers in Genesis:
Emerald Crossing: An Adventure Through Psalm 23.
Providing Hope to a Fearful Generation
In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.
Every step along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Like David discovered throughout his life, first as a shepherd and later as a king, we’ll discover important truths such as:
• I can be a child of God and have the Lord as my shepherd.
• I need the Lord to lead me on the right path through his Word.
• I can turn to the Lord for comfort when I’m feeling anxious or afraid.
• I can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation.
• I need to be on the lookout for God’s goodness and mercy,
my traveling companions through life.
